EVENTS AT COREDO

• NIGHTS OF MAY (11 - 13 May 2007):

  This event, since its first edition in 1999, has had over a thousand of people attending, with great interest of the press and show operators. The Nights of May is music, performance, aggregation. Every year, these three days hits a record number of spectators, it’s the most important and popular event that focuses its attention on the young people of the Valli del Noce. It’s also among the most popular events in Trentino Alto Adige.

• FLORANAUNIA (8 - 17 Juny 2007):

  Floranaunia is an exhibition of flowers, plants, arts, crafts and things that are typically for the Valle di Non. Nature and flowers will represent the second edition of this fair, aimed to show you local handicrafts, gastronomy, farming and the peculiarities of this valley. The guests will be welcomed not only by flowers and nature, but by culture and art. A journey filled with curiosity, gardens and flower beds prepared by nursery men, floriculturists and craftsmen.
  The main themes of this event are:
  - The ENVIRONMENT and most of all environmental education with activities that will exhibit and promote local flora;
  - The CRAFTSMEN with local handcrafts;
  - Traditional and contemporary ART which forms a bond with the environment and the reality of the Valle di Non; - The GASTRONOMY with the presentation and sampling of typical products.
  The event will take place in the historic centre of Coredo.
  
  
  

• FESTIVAL TRENTINO MONDIALFOLK (13 -22 July 2007):

  The folkloristic group Lacchè of Coredo is delighted to invite you to Mondialfolk, an international manifestation that expresses genuine folklore and popular traditions. Stop and see folklore groups from all over the world! Each single nation, with their colors, music, songs and dances that are related to their history, legends, defeats, hopes and dreams, will pass on to you their customs while making you experience strong emotions and sentiments. • THE "COLOMELA" FESTIVAL (3 - 5 August 2007):

  The "colomela" were poles of wood obtained from cutting tree trunks in four pieces using a special procedure. Celebrations are held in memory of this laborious old trade, especially for the skills and teamwork necessary for a successful outcome!
  
  
  

• WOOD THAT COMES TO LIFE (13 - 18 August 2007):

  The week before “Ferragosto”, the squares of Coredo and Tavon become completely dedicated to wood carving. Fifteen wood carvers from all over the world offer their sculptural art so the wood can regain life.
  
  
  

• THE VAULTS (in August):

  During this event the whole historical center is closed to traffic, open only to pedestrians. These peculiar vaults become sampling rooms where you can try the local dishes from long ago, and between tasty morsels you can sip a glass of good wine too.
